More late summer photos. Romeo and I went for a walk earlier today. We were out back enjoying the breeze...
...just as a mild storm started coming in.
We were exploring the wooded grassy area back behind the K-Mart next door...
...and made a couple of discoveries before the weather made us turn around. I wish my home blended into the landscape as naturally as this.
We found a tree,
bleeding sap...
like amber jewels. Something about this color makes my mouth water.
We booked it home when the clouds started to get dark and the wind picked up.
Romeo was brave about the thunder and we made it home just as the rain and wind got serious.
